Asking the Right Question - Latest story

I've just published my latest short story. Asking the Right Question is a quick 15 minute read

The description reads

*** A short Story ***

*** A Sweet Romance ***

Some things are hard, others are terrifying.

… My stomach dropped to my knees. This had gone way to far way to fast. No way was I asking Dereck Jackson to the school dance. The man was at the top of the food chain. Devastatingly handsome, built like a rock wall, super cool, with killer blue eyes – I am a huge sucker for killer blue eyes – and thick sandy brown hair that made a person want to run their fingers through it. No way was I asking him out. The rejection would be so quick the earth would stop spinning.

Besides, if he said no, correction when he said no, all of my secret hopes and dreams would be squashed like a bug on a windshield. Nope, not going to happen. …

Please check it out.

Thanks

The first transcontinental telephone call

A hundred years ago today Jan 25 1915 the first Transcontinental Telephone call was accomplished. Think about it. Over a hundred years ago people couldn't call someone on the other side of the country. Now every person has a world wide computer in their pocket. They can watch their nephews soccer game from Australia.

The flow of information both speed and depth has been one of the biggest changes in our lives. Where will it go next.

Latest Release

Finally, my latest book "My Sister's Best Friend" has been released.

*** A sweet romance ***
Falling in love with your little sister’s best friend is never smart. They know all your secrets and if things don’t work out your sister will kill you. When Ashley Parker sends young Marine Nathan Johnson a care package it open’s his eyes to a possibility. The last time he’d seen her she’d been deep into that 16 year old coltish stage. Now, 2 years later, she was definitely in that beautiful woman stage. It seems that annoying brats grow up.
Being in love with your best friend’s older brother is never easy. To them you’ll always be the annoying pest following them around like a lost puppy. Always in the friend zone, never more, never enough. Ashley has known Nathan Johnson her whole life and secretly been in love with him since she was twelve. Maybe now, maybe if dreams come true, Nathan might see her for her true self, might come to love her as much as she loves him.
