Something A Little Different
I wanted to try something a little different this time so I wrote a Regency Romance The Reluctant Duke. It is about a wounded warrior who does not want to be a Duke with all of it's responsibilities. But his sense of duty dictates otherwise. And a young woman running from a secret past who finds refuge as a downstairs maid in the ducal mansion. Heat and passion pull them together while society fights to keep them apart.

Michael thought she looked part ice princess and part girl next door Tougher than nails and prettier than a pacific sunset. The last thing he needed to do was pick up a beautiful hitch hiker. So of course that was exactly what he did.
Two young castaways, running from hard pasts and bleak futures learn to trust and love as they travel across country, off the grid and out of sight.

The last thing Eric can afford to do is fall in love. He has secrets worth keeping, but when Chelsea starts breaking down his walls, they discover being hidden friends isn’t enough. Maybe they have a future worth risking everything for.

Certain Rules for $.99
My Novel Certain Rules is only $.99 for the next three days.
There are certain unwritten rules in high school. High on the list, close to the top, is one that says. ‘Thou shalt not have sex with your best friend’s girl’. - A simple rule, understood by all. - Danny Carrs totally ignored it.
Another rule even higher on the list says: ‘Thou shalt not beat the crap out of the star quarterback two days before the play-off game.’ I sort of ignored that one. I figured it made us even. Needless to say, the jerks at school didn’t see it my way.
Scott James ruined his future when he punched his best friend Danny, Losing any chance at the college scholarship he desperately wanted. Ostracized by his fellow students. Only outsider Katie Rivers braves social suicide to interact with him.
Katie Rivers, Prefers being on the outside of things. It's safer out there. Because of a shameful past, she desperately needs to remain invisible. Having spent years perfecting the art of blending into the background she throws it all away to warn Scott that he will be attacked.
